Laikmetīgā masku komēdija "Sapņotāji" is a theatre performance at Gulbenes novada kultūras centrs in Gulbene on 13 October 2026. The show features sparkling humour, grotesque characters and a sharp sense of life's absurdities, with acting focused on physicality, quick tempo and strong emotion. The story follows a family and their comic, grotesque struggle over inheritance, mixing irony and reality, with a happy ending characteristic of comedy. Created as a diploma work by fourth-year students of the Latvian Academy of Culture, directed by Kārlis Krūmiņš, it has been nominated for the "Spēlmaņu nakts" award for Small Form Performance of the Year. Recommended for ages 10 and up. The performance is in Latvian.
