“Mana sieva ir mele” is a one-act comedy in Riga at the Great Hall of the Riga Jewish Community on 31 October 2026. The production is presented as part of the 6th International Theatre Festival “Teatrālā Baltika” by the theatre and education studio “YUNAK” from Estonia, directed by Irina Tomingas. Written by Maurice Hennequin and Margaret Mayo, the play is set in 1920s Chicago, where a young marriage is thrown into turmoil by lies, jealousy and family deceptions. Katie’s attempt to preserve her relationship leads to a chain of unexpected events, adventures and comic situations. The performance is intended for adult audiences. The cast includes Artūrs Kuldmaa, Anastasija Gončara, Marks Seps, Svetlana Staroverova, Tatjana Zavidej, Aleksanders Frīdland and Poļina Barišņikova.
