The play “Simtgadīgas Hilduras Bokas jaunkundzes patiesais stāsts” will take place in Riga on 30 October 2026 at the Riga Jewish Community Grand Hall. Performed by the Israeli theatre “La Bama,” founded in 2005 and led by artistic director Olga Chabana-Isakova, the play reimagines the well-known character Miss Boka from the story of The Child and Karlsson, presenting her life story over a hundred years. Audiences will witness a blend of comic and deeply touching moments, highlighting themes of memory, dignity, and resilience.
