The theatre production “Zelta lavīna” will take place on 30 October 2026 at the Great Hall of the Riga Jewish Community. Inspired by the play by Valentin Krasnogorov, this black comedy explores what happens to a small town that suddenly becomes immensely wealthy. Greed, fear and the struggle for power come to the fore, while absurdity becomes a new reality. The production features vivid lighting and sound design as well as a striking visual style. Directed in Russian by Tatjana Kundozerova, the performance provokes reflection on human nature and values. The cast brings together representatives from various professions, united by a passion for theatre. The performance is in Russian.
