The premiere concert of Gints Smukais' album “Ekspresijas 1” takes place at Kultūrvieta BLAUMANIS in Sigulda on 25 September 2026. Latvian instrumental musician Gints Smukais presents his third studio album, with pieces inspired by personal events and emotions of the past five years, from pandemic solitude to memorable everyday moments. The concert features both dynamic, expressive rhythms and introspective, melancholic melodies. Alongside the new compositions, Gints will perform guitar solo arrangements of works by Latvian composers and artists specially created for this programme. Throughout the evening, the musician will share stories about his decade-long journey in music and the making of the album. Doors open at 19:00, concert starts at 20:00. The event will be filmed and photographed.
