FREIMANIS is a musical theatre production at Liepājas teātris in Liepāja from 6 November 2026 to 27 January 2027, at Teātra iela 4. It is not a documentary biography, but a collage of moments exploring Mārtiņš Freimanis’s contradictory world, the dual nature of a person, and the boundary between memory, fantasy and truth. The production also turns to weaknesses and an inner emptiness that can be easier to sing than to live through. The cast includes Valts Skuja, Agnese Jēkabsone, Gatis Maliks, Kārlis Artejevs, Hugo Puriņš, Rolands Beķeris, Agnija Dreimane, Santa Breikša and Polina Čerņenoka, joined by musicians. Directed by Mārtiņš Kalita, with set design by Valters Kristbergs.
