The Baroque music visual theatre production "Dievs Pamet Johanu: Dzīve turpinās" takes place in Riga at RAA SPACE from 16 October to 28 November 2026. This innovative show brings together actors, musicians, and cultural professionals from Latvia, Greece, Lithuania, Italy, and Austria, blending Baroque music and puppet theatre in a unique performance. The story follows the German violinist Johann Fischer’s journey through Jelgava and Riga in the 17th century, exploring themes of inspiration, belonging, and the essence of music. Santa Didžus stars as Johan, Guna Zariņa as the Moon, with early music ensemble Concerto Riga. Laura Šarova is the musical director and Helias Dzimoulakis the director.
