“DAKTERA ČEHOVA LABORATORIJA” is a theatre production at Daugavpils Theatre in Daugavpils, taking place on 29–30 January 2027. Short stories by Anton Chekhov, including “Enemies”, “The Malefactor”, “The Wife” and “Anyuta”, are presented as dramatic miniatures. This experiment changes the usual stage arrangement: the playing area surrounds the audience, while the seats rotate around their own axis, offering a 360-degree view of the action. The production is directed by Oļegs Šapošņikovs and Alla Korovkina. Inga Bermaka is the set and costume designer, and Sergejs Vasiļjevs is the lighting designer. The production premiered on 24 May 2019.
