Čehu un latviešu kormūzikas koncerts is a choral concert taking place on 26 September 2026 at VEF Kultūras pils in Riga. This event brings together Latvian and Czech choirs, including the Prague mixed choir “PRAŽSKÝ SMÍŠENÝ SBOR” led by conductors Jiří Petrdlík and Jan Steyer, the VEF Kultūras pils mixed choir “SENRĪGA”, and the chamber choir “VIDUS” from the Center of Traditional Culture and Crafts “Īrga”. The programme features both classical and spiritual choral works by Czech and Latvian composers such as Antonín Dvořák, Petr Eben, Rihards Dubra, Josef Bohuslav Foerster, and Eugen Suchoň. Latvian choirs will also perform the cantata “Dziedot dzimu” by Zigmar Liepiņš and Māra Zālīte, highlighting the diversity of Latvian choral traditions.
