BALTIJAS TEĻŠ is a theatre production at Liepājas teātris in Liepāja on 8 January 2027. Directed by Elmārs Seņkovs, “Apjukums divās daļās” looks back to 23 August 1989, when around two million people joined hands to form a 670-kilometre human chain, expressing the desire for freedom and restored independence. The story follows three Latvian fathers who fought for a free Latvia and their families’ happiness, while facing different interpretations of what happiness means. The production premiered on 12 April 2025. The cast includes Mārtiņš Kalita, Edgars Ozoliņš, Kaspars Kārkliņš, Gatis Maliks, Agnese Jēkabsone, Everita Pjata-Gertnere, Inese Kučinska, Hugo Puriņš, Sandis Pēcis, Laura Jeruma, Kintija Stūre or Madara Kalna, Kaspars Gods or Armands Kaušelis, and Artūrs Irbe. Set design is by Reinis Suhanovs, with music by Edgars Mākens and Edgars Rubenis.
