The Christmas Festival concert of baroque music will take place at the Dzintari Concert Hall Grand Hall in Jūrmala on 23 December 2026. The programme features soprano Gunta Gelgote and the early music ensemble Sonore Antiqua performing works by Arcangelo Corelli, Antonio Vivaldi, Georg Philipp Telemann, George Frideric Handel, and Johann Sebastian Bach. Highlights include Corelli's Concerto grosso, Bach's Fifth Brandenburg Concerto, Telemann's concerto for two violins, and vocal pieces by Vivaldi and Handel. Sonore Antiqua is made up of professional musicians specialising in Renaissance and Baroque music, with a focus on historically informed performance. Concert duration will be specified.
