“Ziemassvētku ērģeļmūzikas koncertu sveču gaismā” is an organ music concert in Riga at St Paul’s Church on 26 December 2026. Beneath the church’s Neo-Gothic vaults, the programme features music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Louis Vierne and other composers. The historic organ will be played by Ilona Birģele, chief organist of Riga St James’ Cathedral and artistic director of the Historic Organ Festival “Latvija – ērģeļu zeme”. Hundreds of flickering candles and the majestic sound of the organ will shape the Christmas atmosphere. The musicians will perform from the balcony beside the organ, while a video transmission in the hall will provide a detailed view of the performers. Address: Augusta Deglava iela 1.
