VISAS VIŅAS GRĀMATAS is a theatre play in Riga at WILLA teātris, running from 3 to 6 December 2026. The production is based on Justīne Kļava’s play, inspired by Bernhard Schlink’s novel The Reader. Directed by Gusts Ābele, it brings Kurts Kārlis and Daiga Kažociņa together in a stark story about the contradictory relationship between Mihaels and Hanna over many years. Mihaels is a schoolboy, while Hanna is a woman with a complicated past. Their fateful meeting develops into a forbidden love that borders on dependency and changes both their lives forever. The creative team includes set and costume designer Aleksandra Visocka, lighting artist Natālija Jēkabsone, composer Kurts Kārlis and choreographer Santa Gribuste. The play returns to the stage twelve years after its premiere at Dailes Theatre.
