The opera “Vēju vīrs Pankoks” will be performed in November 2027 at the Liepāja Concert Hall GREAT AMBER, Main Hall. This work by composer Rihards Dubra and librettist Inga Ābele tells the story of Miķelis Pankoks’ search for identity and artistic calling on Latvia’s southern coast. The opera is performed in the South Kurzeme dialect. Discounts are available for seniors, students, people with disabilities, pupils, honorary families and groups—proof of eligibility required. The event is accessible for people with hearing impairments; the best listening experience is in the center stalls, rows 5 to 12.
