“TU UN ES ZIEMAS VAKARĀ” is a retro music concert story in Rīga at VEF Kultūras pils, running from 17 to 21 December 2026. Both concerts begin at 19:00. Orchestra “Rīga”, conducted by Valdis Butāns, performs arrangements of songs by Elga Igenberga and Ringolds Ore with soloists Beāte Zviedre (soprano), Ieva Parša (mezzo-soprano) and Rihards Millers (baritone). Evening hosts Marta Lovisa Jančevska and Imants Strads frame stories from Latvian stage music of the 1950s–70s. The programme brings together lively retro rhythms, festive atmosphere and a rarely heard orchestral sound.
