“TIKŠANĀS VIETA - LATVIJA” is a concert programme in Ogre at the Great Hall of Ogres novada Kultūras centrs, taking place from 22 to 27 February 2027. Four singers beloved in Latvia will meet on one stage: Italian Roberto Meloni, Spaniard Javier Fernandes, Georgian Shota Adamashvili and Japanese Masaki Nakagawa. They will perform popular songs from their native countries in Italian, Spanish, Georgian and Japanese, as well as sing in Latvian. The programme includes their original songs in Latvian and well-known Latvian songs for singing together with the audience. An instrumental ensemble will accompany the performers. Roberto Meloni will host the concert, with Jānis Strazds as musical director and Maija Kalniņa as scriptwriter and director.
