The puppet show "Sarkangalvīte" will take place in Liepāja, at Liepājas Latviešu biedrības nams on 4 October 2026. This playful retelling of the classic Brothers Grimm story follows Red Riding Hood as she meets a frog, a rat, and a not-so-evil wolf in the forest. Here, the wolf is simply upset because everyone has forgotten his birthday, and grandmother is "eaten" only by accident. The performance is light and suitable for children aged 2 and above. The show lasts 40 minutes, directed by Juris Ločmelis, with scenography by Aleksandra Runde and music by Jānis Strazds. Cast: Denisa Egle and Pēteris Lapiņš.
