“ZIEMASSVĒTKU PASAKA” is a puppet theatre performance in Liepāja at Liepājas Latviešu biedrības nams on 29 December 2026. This stage version by Ģ. Šolis is based on motifs from M. Stāraste’s fairy tale “Kāpēc sniegs vizuļo” and lasts 40 minutes. The performance is intended for children aged 2 and over. In the gnome village of Zvārguļu grava, three gnomes prepare for Christmas, but their dissatisfaction with snow and frost drives away Father Frost and Mother Snow. Little Star helps bring winter’s magic back. A ticket is required for every audience member aged 2 and over, including children sitting on an adult’s lap.
