Pētera Martinsona darbu izstāde “Kečkemētas piezīmes” is an exhibition in Daugavpils at Rotko Museum’s Martinsons’ House, Mihaila iela 3, from 11 September to 29 November 2027. It presents porcelain works from the collection of the International Ceramics Studio in Kecskemét, Hungary. The works were created during residencies and symposiums held there between 1992 and 2003. Their stylised architectural forms reveal Pēteris Martinsons’ original sculptural thinking, sense of form and interpretation of material. The exhibition concludes the programme marking Martinsons’ 95th birthday, developed by the museum in cooperation with the Latvian Centre for Contemporary Ceramics and highlighting significant works from museum collections in Latvia and abroad.
