“Oskars un lietas” is a family-friendly puppet theatre play in Riga at the Latvijas Leļļu teātris, running from 15 November 2026 to 2 February 2027. Oskars’s summer at his grandmother’s countryside home becomes an adventure through imagination and friendship with the various objects in the house. The play explores imagination, friendship and the ability to listen to one another. The cast includes Artūrs Putniņš, Santa Didžus, Anna Klišāne, Krists Jēkabsons and Rūdolfs Apse. Selected performances offer an audio introduction and tactile support for visually impaired audience members. The creative team includes director Paula Pļavniece, playwright Klāvs Mellis, artist Kristaps Kramiņš and composer Kārlis Tone. Address: Kr. Barona 16/18, Riga.
