The musical performance "Mušas lielās svinības" takes place in Rēzekne at the Rēzekne National Societies Culture House from 26 to 27 September 2026. This colourful fairy tale tells the story of a fly who finds some money and decides to throw a big celebration, turning an ordinary day into an adventure. Audiences can enjoy live music, puppets, and imaginative staging where a large tree forms the centre of the magical world. Directed by Marija Ivanova, with performances by Kristīne Klimanova, Larisa Beilo, Jekaterina Garfunkele, Edvīns Klimanovs, and Genādijs Voronovs. Music by Indulis Balodis. The show is in Russian, recommended for ages 3 and up, and lasts 45 minutes.
