“MOMO - muzikālā izrāde bērniem” is a musical production for children touring Latvia from 30 October to 18 December 2027, with performances at several venues. Based on Michael Ende’s story, it follows Momo, a girl with an unusual ability to listen so attentively that people around her find answers and joy. When the Grey Men arrive and begin taking away people’s conversations, friendships and the colours of life, Momo must stand up to the thieves of time. The production features music by Zigmars Liepiņš and lyrics by Māra Zālīte, created in tribute to both authors’ 75th birthdays in 2027. The story speaks to children and adults alike and is supported by VKKF. Venues include ULBROKAS PĒRLE, Kultūras centrs, Ogres novada Kultūras centrs, Kultūras centrs SIGULDAS DEVONS, Valmieras Kultūras centrs and VEF Kultūras pils.
