MAZAIS CILVĒKS is a family theatre production with circus elements in Valmiera at Valmieras teātris, running from 25 November 2026 to 28 January 2027. Inspired by motifs from Erich Kästner’s novel, the production is directed by Toms Treinis, with dramaturgy by Justīne Kļava. Its protagonist, Maksītis Pihelšteinietis, is only five centimetres tall, yet pursues big dreams in a world of circus. The show is performed in two parts with a large cast and is suitable for children in grades 1 to 6. Courage, perseverance and family values are at its heart.
