MAESTRO MELODIJAS is a concert at the Ogres novada Cultural Centre, Great Hall, in Ogre, Brīvības iela 15, on 30 January 2027. The Jelgava Big Band, with vocalist Ance Krauze, will perform songs composed especially for her by Maestro, highlighting the emotional depth of their collaboration. The programme also features instrumental arrangements created by Grammy-winning arranger Michael Abene for the big band, bringing a renewed jazz sound to well-known Latvian melodies. The concert will be performed by a 20-musician ensemble together with the acclaimed soloist, merging Latvian musical heritage with a touch of international jazz.
