The concert “Latvijas Radio bigbends | Lars Moller | Indodžezs Cēsīs” takes place on 7 November 2026 at the CĒSIS Concert Hall in Cēsis. Danish saxophonist, composer and conductor Lars Moller joins the Latvian Radio Big Band to present a unique collaboration fusing jazz with Indian classical music, also featuring Indian musicians Ashwani Shankar (shehnai) and Zuheb Ahmed Khan (tabla). The program highlights original music, rich rhythms and melodic improvisation, creating a dialogue between Scandinavian jazz and Indian traditions. Admission is not allowed for preschool children. Two wheelchair spaces are available (no chairs provided, assistant must purchase a separate seat).
