Koncertuzvedums “RĪDZINIEKI DEJO CAURI GADU SIMTIEM” is a concert performance in Riga at VEF Kultūras pils Great Hall on 18 November 2026. Dedicated to Riga’s 825th anniversary, the programme brings together 15 original dance stories in two parts, performed by the folk dance ensemble “Zelta Sietiņš” and its friends. The first part explores Riga’s origins and the lives, traditions and celebrations of the inhabitants of its islands through Liv folklore motifs. The second interprets Riga’s 20th-century development, from the Ulmanis era and post-war period to the dynamic rhythms of the modern city. The programme also features TDA “Rotaļa”, JDK “Sudraba Stīgas” and VPDK “Mana Rotaļa”. Music is by Gatis Gaujenieks and Mārtiņš Miļevskis.
