The concert production “Baroka mūzikas kaislības” takes place at ULBROKAS PĒRLE Cultural Centre in Ulbroka on 27 October 2026. This programme weaves together the musical styles of Georg Friedrich Handel and Tarquinio Merula—Handel’s vocal-instrumental works radiate harmony and celebrate the world’s splendour, while Merula’s Venetian-style instrumental dances stand out with dynamic rhythms and virtuosity. The concert features internationally experienced early music specialists: Kristīne Stumbure (historic wind instruments), Raimonds Melderis (violin), Ainārs Paukšēns (cello), Pēteris Vaickovskis, Inga Šļubovska-Kancēviča (singer), and Mikus Bāliņš (percussion).
