KLUSAIS LIELAIS SPRĀDZIENS is a contemporary theatre production in Valmiera at KURTUVE, laikmetīgās mākslas telpa, running from 11 December 2026 to 14 January 2027. This one-act LKA directing diploma production is directed by Kristiāns Iesalnieks in collaboration with playwright Ivo Briedis. Inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s film Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb, the production presents a 21st-century version of fear. It is a painfully personal response to a world that has once again become mad and cold. The cast includes Tālivaldis Lasmanis, Krišjānis Salmiņš, Eduards Johansons, Ilze Pukinska, Mārtiņš Mikožāns and Klaids Sevastjanovs.
