JĀZEPS UN VIŅA BRĀĻI is a stage production based on Rainis’ play, presented in Valmiera at the contemporary art space KURTUVE from 21 November 2026 to 29 January 2027. The production is directed by Inese Mičule, with visual interpretation by Reinis and Krista Dzudzilo, lighting by Oskars Pauliņš, music by Rihards Zaļupe and choreography by Linda Mīļā. The cast includes Aksels Aizkalns or Mārtiņš Meiers, Ieva Estere Barkāne and other actors. The performance explores forgiveness, spiritual growth, inner purification and ethical choices in the contemporary world. It premiered on 5 October 2023. KURTUVE is located at Rīgas iela 25a, Valmiera.
