Jauniešu teātra studijas izrāde PUIKA, KURŠ REDZĒJA TUMSĀ is a theatre production in Liepāja at Liepājas Latviešu biedrības nams, running from 29 October to 26 November 2026. Based on motifs from a story by Rasa Bugavičute-Pēce, it follows a boy born to blind parents. The production explores growing up from childhood, the mother’s role and the light we feel within ourselves. The cast includes Kristofers Sproģis, Līva Barute, Juris Ločmelis, Ulrika Kronpuša or Alise Anženko, Evika Ulmane and Anna Pumpura. Directed by Juris Ločmelis, with stage design and costumes by Dace Lanka, sound by Arvena Dāvida and lighting by Kārlis Vīksna. The performance is in Latvian. Address: Rožu Laukums 5/6, Liepāja.
