The production "Indulis un Ārija" is a theatre performance taking place at Nacionālais teātris Lielā zāle in Riga on 4 November 2026. Based on Rainis' play, it explores essential human values such as love, life, death, humanity, and national identity through the fate of the main characters: Indulis, a Kūri chief, and Ārija, the daughter of a German knight. This large-scale production is a collaboration between two important cultural institutions and features the State Academic Choir "Latvija" under the direction of Māris Sirmais, performing alongside the cast. The staging marks the 160th anniversary of Rainis.
