Imanta Klīdzēja izstāde “Cieši pie vēja” is an art exhibition in Daugavpils at the Rothko Museum, Mihaila iela 3, on 10 September 2026. The artist’s work is shaped by an ongoing dialogue between material, time and human experience. Over more than fifty years of creative practice, he has consistently tested the boundaries of ceramics, turning clay into a space for thought. His monumental compositions are made up of hundreds and thousands of elements: each is an independent unit, while together they form a whole. Curator Māris Čačka sees structural parallels with human experience in these arrangements, where meaning emerges through countless details as well as major events. The publicity image shows a fragment of “Appassione Tempo”, a ceramic object installation from 2024.
