The group exhibition "Art Deco 2026" takes place at Mencendorfa nams in Riga on 4 September 2026. Fourteen female artists present nearly seventy works, including paintings and decorative pieces inspired by the vibrant Art Deco era. The exhibition features both professional painters and creative individuals from various backgrounds. Art Deco's style is highlighted through rich colour palettes, clear geometric shapes, expressive lines, and exotic motifs from ancient Egypt and Japan. The exhibition captures the spirit of the Jazz Age, reflecting a belief in beauty, luxury, and freedom.
