Ģirta Krūmiņa monoizrāde “Vientuļās planētas sala” is a theatre performance in Kuldīga at DUNA koncertzāle on 30 January 2027. Actor Ģirts Krūmiņš presents a personal story about pandemic quarantine, the isolation it created and the path towards a broader understanding of the world and himself. Based on true events, the solo performance combines stand-up comedy elements with warmth, wit and self-irony. Piano music by J. S. Bach and other notable composers is performed alongside Ģirts Krūmiņš’s own compositions. Ģirts Krūmiņš takes part as both actor and pianist. Each encounter changes with its audience, while applause, photography and sharing impressions on social media are allowed and encouraged.
