GINTS SMUKAIS “EKSPRESIJAS 1” is an instrumental guitar music concert taking place at DUNA concert hall in Kuldīga on 24 October 2026. Guitarist Gints Smukais presents a new concert program marking the release of his third studio album, featuring compositions created over the past five years and inspired by personal experiences and recent world events. In addition to new works from the album, the concert will feature unique guitar solo arrangements of pieces by renowned Latvian composers such as Imants Kalniņš, Uldis Marhilevičs, and the band Instrumenti. Smukais will also share stories behind his creative journey and the making of the album.
