Monikas Korpas izstāde "bez nosaukuma Nr. 20"
Monikas Korpas izstāde "bez nosaukuma Nr. 20" is an art exhibition in Riga at the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre on 1 October 2026. At its centre is “m”, the 20th letter of the Latvian alphabet, which becomes a symbol of the artwork and the starting point for ten words that sound like “commandments” for today. The exhibition explores language, memory and repetition: words are “written” again and again, becoming signs and quiet reflections. Monika Korpa, formerly known as Inese Monika Pormale, is an internationally recognised Latvian set designer. She has created scenography for productions in Latvia and major European theatres, and collaborated with Alvis Hermanis, Elmārs Seņkovs, Gerda Lapoška, Kornél Mundruczó and Claus Guth.
