“Džudita” is a musical theatre production in Riga at VEF Kultūras pils, running from 23 November 2026 to 11 May 2027. Franz Lehár’s five-act operetta tells of Judith’s passionate longing and love, with emotionally intense character interaction and rich music. The lead roles are performed by Anta Jankovska or Anastasija Dolgoņenko as Judith, and Dainis Skutelis, Juris Jope or Andrejs Krutojs as Octavio. The production also features a choir, dancers and symphony orchestra. Conductor Atvars Lakstīgala and director Gernot Kranner lead the staging. It is the first production of Lehár’s operetta created in Latvia, marking his 155th birthday.
