The operetta "Džudita" will be staged as a musical theatre production in Riga at the VEF Kultūras pils on 23 November 2026. Franz Lehár’s five-act operetta explores Judith's longing and passionate love, highlighted by deep character interactions and rich, expressive music. International artists will perform the lead roles, including Anta Jankovska or Anastasija Dolgoņenko as Judith and Dainis Skutelis, Juris Jope, or Andrejs Krutojs as Octavio. The production features a choir, dancers, and symphony orchestra, with conductor Atvars Lakstīgala and director Gernot Kranner. This marks the Latvian premiere of the operetta, celebrating Lehár’s 155th anniversary.
