Veloopera “Kurzemes Šveicē” is an experimental music opera at SunsStudio in Rīga on 11 December 2026. Kaspars Rolšteins’ artwork takes the form of a spy thriller about secret-organisation agents and professional cyclists who, because of GPS interference, arrive in Kurzeme’s Switzerland — Sabile. The three-part work is presented as a performance rather than a dramatic theatre production. Kaspars Rolšteins performs with Elizabete Balčus, Eleonora Kampе, Leo Novus, Katrīna Dambeniece, Alīna Burlakova, Marta Marija Silāre and Māris Žigats. The music develops the sound of electronic instruments.
