The musical fairy tale "Vecīša cimdiņš" will be performed in Riga at the Small Hall of the Latvian Puppet Theatre from 18 to 23 December 2026. This family-friendly production features elves Tirkšķis, Tarkšķis, and Svilpīte, who are tasked with telling a fairy tale to children as they cannot find Santa Claus in the workshop this year. Through storytelling and acting, the elves discover that sharing a fairy tale is not as easy as it sounds. The play is directed and adapted by Arnita Jaunzeme, with scenography by Vita Radziņa and music composed by Mikus Frišfelds. Performers include Anna Klišāne, Anrijs Sirmais, and Matīss Millers. Please review the venue’s attendance guidelines before your visit. Suitable for families with children.
