“Vecīša cimdiņš” is a musical fairy tale for the whole family, taking place at the Small Hall of the Latvian Puppet Theatre in Riga from 18 to 23 December 2026. Elves Tirkšķis, Tarkšķis, and Svilpīte, unable to find Santa Claus this year, are tasked with telling a fairy tale to children. Their attempts reveal that storytelling and performance are not as simple as expected. The production is directed and adapted by Arnita Jaunzeme, with scenography by Vita Radziņa and music by Mikus Frišfelds. Cast: Anna Klišāne, Anrijs Sirmais, Matīss Millers.
