The guest performance "Vai tu atceries, kā piedzima tava vecmāmiņa?" by Valmieras Theatre takes place at the Eduards Smiļģis Theatre Museum in Riga on 10 October 2026. Actress Ieva Puķe shares the life story of her grandmother, hydrobiologist Velta Bodniece (1914–1983), revealing a typical yet unique 20th-century Latvian experience and a personal perspective on history. The reading's visual image is created by Ieva's daughter, Katrīna Puķe, with musical arrangement by Emīls Zilberts. Visitors can also see a small exhibition featuring family photographs and heirlooms that deepen the connection with Bodniece's world.
