Valmieras teātra viesizrāde SĀKUMS is a solo play in Riga at Zirgu pasts, running from 6 to 7 February 2027. Based on a play by Justs Tertelis, the production tells the story of a young actor’s birth and his first step onto the stage. A boy from Kandava fulfils his dream of becoming an actor while searching for what it takes to call himself one: courage, dissatisfaction, inspiration, or all of them together. Both humorous and poignant, the play follows his wish to reach the heights of theatre while understanding who he is. Starring Kristaps Kristers Ozols; directed by Elmārs Seņkovs.
