The children's musical play "Runcis zābakos" runs at the Dailes Theatre Great Hall in Riga from 27 September to 2 December 2026. This two-act production is inspired by the tales of Straparola and Perrault, and brings friends together to celebrate the Cat's birthday through a creatively playful performance. Lead roles are performed by Sintija Ceplauska or Daniela Žilinska (Cat), Eduards Rediko (Bikibraks), Katrīna Altenburga or Justīne Skutāne (Princess), and others. Directed by Mārtiņš Meiers with musical direction by Juris Vaivods. The play is in Latvian and is suitable for families with children.
