Izrāde "Lai dzīvo Karaliene, vivat!" is a historical drama in Riga at the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre, running from 8 October to 20 November 2026. Full of intrigue and sudden twists, the play can be compared with an adventure novel or spy thriller, bringing together conspiracies and whims, recklessness and calculation, sacrifice and self-interest, love and jealousy. Elizabeth Tudor chooses duty, power and England in every circumstance, while Mary Stuart follows the force of her feelings even when the crown is at stake. The performance is in Russian with Latvian and English surtitles. Directed by Sergey Golomazov, with a play by Robert Bolt.
