Izrāde "Tartifs" is a theatre performance in Riga at the Mikhail Chekhov Riga Russian Theatre from 6 to 25 November 2026. This city comedy is based on Molière’s play. The story, created in 1664, centres on Tartuffe, who has brought a wealthy nobleman under his influence. As events in the nobleman’s household unfold, they descend into absurdity and farce, provoking protests from the family and those around them. The production invites reflection on who seeks to rule people’s minds and why. Directed by Sergey Golomazov. The theatre is located at 16 Kaļķu Street.
