The opening of the paper art exhibition “Agrā rūsa” will take place on 24 October 2026 at Sigulda County Library in Sigulda, Leona Paegles iela 3. The opening begins at 13:00. This is the fifth exhibition of paper art and artists’ books, bringing together works in which paper is bought or handmade, sewn, folded, glued and drawn. The theme is explored in varied ways, from Elīna Zālīte’s artistic binding of “Agrā rūsa” to real rust patterns on paper and philosophical reflections expressed through material. Some works, including paper design lamps, were created as part of the “DABA RADA-2026” project at Dzērbenes Radošā māja “Memberi”. The exhibition is open until 8 January 2027 during the library’s opening hours.
