Ola Onabule un Liepājas Simfoniskais orķestris is a concert taking place on 13 March 2027 at the Great Hall of Liepājas koncertzāle LIELAIS DZINTARS in Liepāja. The programme brings together songs from several of Ola Onabule’s albums, exploring love through relationships between parents and children, as well as life partners. Soul, jazz and African musical traditions meet the expanded colours and dynamics of a symphony orchestra. Performers are Ola Onabule (voice), Dāvis Jurka (saxophone), Viktors Ritovs (piano), Artis Orubs (drums), Edvīns Ozols (double bass), the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra and conductor Jānis Liepiņš. An extended stage is used, so row 5 is actually the first audience row. Visitors claiming a discount must present a document proving eligibility.
