Mākslinieces Čiharu Šjotas personālizstāde “Realitātes audums” is a contemporary art exhibition in Liepāja at the Historic Latvian Bank Building, from 3 March to 28 November 2027. Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota is known for monumental spatial installations in which threads, strings and wires interact with everyday objects. The exhibition explores memory, identity, bodily experience and the meaning of place. Liepāja residents are invited to write about what gives them strength, the traditions that have shaped their identity and messages for future generations. These words and fragments of memory become woven into a rope that both connects and supports. Address: Teātra iela 3, Liepāja.
