Liepāja 2027 atklāšanas svētki - "Atskan Karostā" is a series of classical chamber music concerts in Liepāja at Karostas kamerzāle, Pulkveža Brieža iela 1, from 23 to 24 January 2027. The programme features Liepāja musicians Viktorija and Krišjānis Gaiķis, performing gentle classical works by composers connected with other European Capitals of Culture and Liepāja. Concerts are scheduled for 23:00 and 00:30, allowing visitors to move between the main celebrations in the city centre and the Karosta concerts at an unhurried pace. Between performances, guests can enjoy tea or coffee, pastries and conversations with the musicians.
