Lienes Kābeles izstāde “Grāmatu otrā dzīve” is an art exhibition in Sigulda at Siguldas novada bibliotēka, running from 3 to 28 November 2026. The exhibition is held at Leona Paegles iela 3. Artist Liene Kābele uses orimoto, the Japanese technique of folding books, together with origami to give worn-out books that are no longer suitable for ordinary reading a new life and a three-dimensional form. The exhibition presents refined artworks created by Kābele, a book repairer and artist at Ogres Centrālā bibliotēka. Visitors can explore how old books are transformed into paper art.
