Latvijas Republikas proklamēšanas gadadiena is a national holiday event in Jūrmala, at Kauguru kultūras nams, Raiņa iela 110, on 18 November 2026. From 15:30, residents and visitors are invited to create the Gaismas ceļš, placing their own lit lights along the shared route from Lielupe Bridge to Ķemeri and on Jomas Street. Road traffic and fire-safety rules must be observed. At 20:00, the holiday concert will feature the Jūrmala United Choir, led by chief conductor Ināra Freimane, with soloists Aija Vītoliņa and Ivo Grīsniņš-Grīslis. At 21:30, a festive fireworks display will take place in Kauguros on Raiņa Street, by Kauguru kultūras nams.
